We will pick you up from your agreed-upon location, such as your hotel or AirB&B.
We’ll head to the “Dutch Venice” also known as Giethoorn.
The drive takes about 1.5 hours, giving us plenty of time to answer all your questions about Holland, its culture, and its people.
10:30 Arrival in Giethoorn & Boat trip
Once we arrive, you can relax with a coffee while we prepare the boat for a lovely canal ride.
During the trip, we’ll share fascinating insights into Giethoorn’s history and its stunning landscape.
If you’d like, you can even navigate the boat yourself, with or without our guidance.
12:00 Local lunch & Walk around
Next, you’ll enjoy a delicious local lunch at one of Giethoorn’s authentic restaurants or charming canal-side terraces. Try some ‘poffertjes’ (mini pancakes) or a sandwich with ‘kroketten’!
Afterwards, you’ll have some time to stroll along the picturesque canals or visit the local museum.
13:30 Departure to a Hanseatic city like Harderwijk
Leaving Giethoorn, we’ll embark on a scenic drive towards Harderwijk, winding our way through the picturesque landscapes of Holland.
Expect to pass through quaint Dutch villages and experience the varied beauty of the Dutch countryside as we make our way to the historic Hanseatic city.

Harderwijk invites you to uncover its rich history. Stroll its historic city center, where cobblestone streets reveal impressive Hanseatic buildings and medieval city walls.
